這是與清華大學-城鄉價值共創與共好計畫合作，大學的計畫之一是透過繪本和課程進入當地國小及社區，用說故事的方式串連小朋友和大人一起認識新竹橫山鄉。
透過文史調查活動，分成四個方向、四位文史老師（葛樂禮颱風、客家夥房屋、童玩及內灣歷史）帶領學生們一起探索橫山鄉，藉由整理這些文史資料，來思考繪本故事方向。
在撰寫文本的時候，想著要用什麼故事串連這些資訊呢？充滿歷史的內灣線是一個很適合將這些事情串連的引線，於是乎就開始了這趟影片、照片及文字的搜尋之旅。
.這本繪本裡面的花花和咪咪是真有其貓、真有其狗，名為花花的狗狗，早期流浪在街頭，誤食毒藥三次，都被貴香姨拯救，最後一次獲救就開始伴隨在貴相姨身邊，形影不離，這本訴說的是歷史故事，為了讓小朋友可以沈浸其中，透過真實存在人類的朋友來開場，希望可以拉近他們與這塊土地的距離。

This is a collaboration with Tsinghua University's Urban and Rural Value Co-Creation and Well-Being Project. One of the university's initiatives is to enter local elementary schools and communities through picture books and courses, using storytelling to connect children and adults to learn about Hengshan Township in Taiwan Hsinchu.

Through cultural and historical survey activities, students are divided into four directions, led by four cultural and historical teachers (covering topics such as Typhoon Gloria, Hakka kitchens, traditional toys, and Neiwan history). By organizing these cultural and historical materials, students think about the direction of the picture book stories.

When writing the text, the idea was to find a story that could weave these pieces of information together. The history-rich Neiwan Line became a fitting thread to connect these elements, thus beginning this journey of searching for videos, photos, and texts.

The characters Huahua and Mimi in this picture book are based on real animals—a real cat and a real dog. The dog named Huahua was once a stray on the streets and accidentally ingested poison three times, each time being saved by Aunt Guixiang. After the last rescue, Huahua stayed by Aunt Guixiang’s side, never leaving her. This book tells historical stories, and to help children immerse themselves, it starts with real friends of humans, hoping to bring them closer to this land.
